The GYROTONIC® Method

WHAT IS THE GYROTONIC® METHOD?

To quote the GYROTONIC® method itself:

"GYROTONIC® classes are designed to take the body beyond its current limitations. People come out of a GYROTONIC® class with increased freedom of movement, greater strength, and more agility. GYROTONIC® exercises are adapted to fit anyone’s ability, from those recovering from injury or living with a disability to elite athletes."

You won't experience it as 'exercise,' not in any kind of way that you're used to. However, you can expect to get stronger, more flexible, and more coordinated.

We employ specially designed equipment to support the body's weight and allow you to move more easily into specific, spiralling movements that will teach the body how to move from the spine outwards and how to balance out our musculature. The GYROTONIC® method may be able to help with the 'pinch in the hips' or shoulder issues or pain in the mid-back that many people experience. It can also help athletes and dancers (even high-level professionals) find that 'little bit more,' as well as help with recovery and injury-prevention.
